Rental Process

Thank you for your interest in renting a home with Eyde Holdings LLC. Below is an overview of our rental process.

1. Review Selection Criteria

Before viewing a rental home or completing an application, all potential applicants must review our tenant selection criteria. You may be asked to demonstrate that you meet these requirements prior to scheduling a home viewing.

2. View the Rental Home

If you meet the necessary criteria, you may schedule a viewing of the home with our office or through your real estate agent. All applicants must see the interior of the rental property before submitting an application.

3. Complete Rental Application

If you wish to proceed, you can complete a rental application form and submit all required supporting documents, including a state-issued photo ID, pay stubs, W-2 forms, tax returns, etc. Each applicant 18 years or older must submit a separate application and pay a non-refundable application fee. Please note that any inaccurate or misleading information provided will result in an automatic denial of your application.

4. Screening Process

Once we receive your application and application fee, we begin the screening process. Our credit reporting agency will evaluate your credit and rental history, criminal record, and eviction history. You can expect to receive a decision within three (3) business days. Applications submitted after office hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) will be processed on the next business day. In the event of multiple applications for the same property, we will process all applications and approve the most qualified applicant.

5. Lease Agreement

If your application is approved, you will be notified by email and sent a lease agreement for review. You will have 48 hours to sign the lease and pay the required security deposit. After signing the lease, you will need to transfer utilities into your name prior to the lease start date.

6. Pay First Rent

Your first month's rent must be paid on or before the lease start date. Please note that keys and access to the property will only be provided once all payments have been received.

7. Move-In Inspection

Prior to your lease start date, we will arrange a walk-through inspection with a member of our team to assess the condition of the home. This inspection allows you to review the property before taking possession.
